The grandstanding of PM Lee Hsien Loong

 The dust has not yet settled. Is PM Lee Hsien Loong the greatest or one of the greatest hypocrite? He is retiring from his exalted position  of premiership with such a colossal amount of wealth acquired at public's expense that it simply boggles the mind how a so-called people's representative can be so venal.And now he is shedding crocodile tears at his wrongdoing and in his moment of compunction, if any, he is chanting to the public of his so-called past life-saving service o the deprived and down-trodden that no a day passes without his moaning.Indeed these so-called under-privileged citizens had benefitted in some way from his largesse but his body language showed a glimmer of doubt whether this was all in the form of altruism or a cover-up for avariciousness.This will take some serious insightful stimulating of the people's mind.  No doubt he is trying to leave a legacy of human kindness.

Can  there be a more comical joker than SM Teo Chee Hean? People know that he is subservient to PM Lee Hsien Loong for obvious reason and for him to come out at this time to praise sky high the character of PM Lee Hsien Loong is something as rare as a black swan. What is he trying to prove? In what capacity he considers himself a proper person to make uncomplimentary comments on PM Lee Hsien Loong's hostile relationship with his siblings?

Lawrence Wong is a Hobson's choice for prime ministership. Can you imagine Lawrence Wong playing the guitar when Singapore is in crisis?  Singapore is blessed with him as our next prime minister and we now have to make the best of it.

What is the prognosis of the foreseeable future of Singapore? There is hardly any potential talent in the opposition now or even in the future and the continuity of PAP to govern in infinitum may not sound palatable but unbelievably a foregone conclusion.

God blesses Singapore.

The pomposity of PM Lee Hsien Loong's career achievements

 In history there were Nazi Germany Adophl Hitler and Indonesia Achmed Surkarno who crew to the world of their political dominance and achievements while their people suffered in their livelihood.

In Singapore Lee Kuan Yew and his superlative politicians including Dr. Goh Keng Swee made world history by transforming Singapore from third world to first world status. His successor woody Goh Chok Tong showed outstanding talent in enhancing the prosperity and harmony of Singapore. Then came sonny boy Lee Hsien Loong who showed great promise coming fresh into his authority of prime minister.  His  was an unencumbered tenure because it was plain sailing with the communists out of action.   He did not experience the baptism of fire that his father went through.

Anybody with any sense of ingenuity will be able to achieve what Lee Hsien Loong  had daunted his guillible audience with his achievements in his farewell speech on Mayday lst May. It shows his lack of modesty and humility in portraying himself as some kind of titan in bringing Singapore to its present prosperity and racial harmony. That he should be credited for his part in accomplshing  this cannot be overlooked.but to sit o their fat asses and enjoy the luxuries of life at people's expense after our sacrifices in fighting the communists  is character at the bottom of the human pit.

What made him to hand over his baton ahead of his scheduled date is a mystery but will his successor Lawrence Wong be up to the scratch in taking over.  He strikes me as a flamboyant and ostentatious figure with an avid guitar player background. Singapore needs more than a guitar player to take it our of a crisis when it faces one. But Lee Hsien Loong is head over heels as to his competence. Let's wait and see when he takes over and performs if it's not too late.

The earhshattering farewell speech of PM Lee Hsien Loong

 The tranquil atmosphere of Singapore was erupted by the earthshattering speech of PM Lee Hsien Loong . That he chose Mayday 1st May to do it shows his craftiness.True to his pompous character he held court to mesmerize his guillible audience on his superhuman achievements in bringing prosperity and racial harmony to Singapore. He had the physiognomy of an arrogant war conqueror haranguing over his enemies huddled among themselves listening in awe.There was not the slightest trace of modesty or humility in his mien.

That PM Lee Hsien Loong had done a superb magnificent job in bringing Singapore to its present unprecedented prosperous and harmorous state cannot be denied. This is not intended to denigrate him in any way. But it is interesting to know that in all his examplary and exqusite exterior could there be any character flaw, maybe sublimal , in him. The most glaring character defect is his and his ministers avariciousness in pocketing millions of people's money ostensibly for so-called public service but in actual fact to enrich themselves. I brought this to his attention several times but it seemed like water off duck's back.

I and my colleagues fought the communists in the front line at the risk of our lives to prevent Singapore from falling into the hands of the communists. We were prime targets for the communist killer squad.PM Lee Hsien Loong and his ministers could not be so dense to think that we made these sacrifices so that they can sit on their fat asses and enjoy the luxuries of life at people's expense.

the draw millions of people's money for their salaries and my colleagues and I live on poverty pension at starvation level. Our Pensioners' Association approached them for a small raise in our pension in order for us to survive.  Our representatives were told that we had served our purpose, what we received was enough and that they were waiting for us to die.  Can there be such wicked and cruel human being to make such despicable utterance?

PM Lee Hsien Loong owes me a public apology for his father's sin but he had adopted a reticent posture. I quoted him a Chinese saying: to uphold righteousness over family members (even your father) (大义灭亲) but he does not seem ready to act.

And quite ironically he now portrays himself as a benign and humanitarian prime minister.

The paradistic perception of Lawrence Wong

 As usual with the ultra-pompous PM Lee Hsien Loong his announcement  that he will hand over the baton to DPM Lawrence Wong on 15 May 2024 took Singapore by storm. He gave L.Wpng the highest tributes of his so-called exceptional competence for his coming post of PM. What follows is the gradual and certain deflation of his adulation of L. Wong which comically evolved into some kind of a caricature PM that L. Wong would be.

He is seen as flamboyant and ostentatious in the manner in which he rants (or you might call voluble address) to the public to the point of ad nauseam. It would be interesting if we could have a survey to see how many people listened to his crap. Public comments that circulated can hardly be described as complimentary 

The parody on him on the online citizen website today by actor Schwan Thio really takes the cake showing how Singapore would fare in a crisis if we had a geek PM like him. He was an avid guitar player who aspired to be a musician and out of some freak metamorphosis he now becomes the next Singapore PM. When Singapore is faced with a political or economic crisis we have musical PM Lawrence Wong playing the guitar to soothe your nerves and bring Singapore out of the precipice.

There is a Minister Ong Ye Kung who unfortunately not in the patronage of PM Lee Hsien Loong but  cannot be in any way less endowed ingeniously than Lawrence Wong and above all more down to earth sans any flamboyant or ostentatious display. The way he delivers his public address is so humble, earnest and genuine that no elderly person would not be mesmerized by him.

Lawrence Wong  serves the  subservient purpose of being able to cover up for Lee Hsien Loong's flaws,  if any. The most glaring is the pocketing of millions of people's money to enrich tjhemselves.

 

Is it too early to be euphoric?

 The sudden announement by PM Lee Hsien Loong on 15 April 2024  to step down and hand over the baton to DPM Lawrence Wong has taken Singaporeans by storm. Is this the coming of an era to give  much awaited renaissance to Singapore/ DPM  Lawrence Wong comes with very high credentials to take Singapore forward and he seems to be a godsend at a time of worsening world geopolitics.

But let's face facts. DPM Wong has done very well in tackling the Covid19 pandemic  but what are hi potentials as a prime minister is an unknown factor. He makes the most attractive promises that would mesmerize the people but it's still all  talk.  And how they will be fulfilled is still in the air. He declares tht your dreams will inspire his actions and may be uttered in a moment of flippancy. what guarantee?

PM Lee Hsien Loong pays very high tributes to DPM Wong for his exceptional competency in his undertaking. PM Lee Hsien Loong is doing this in order to cover his own character flaw in a subliminal manner. He is drawing millions of people's money for so-called public service but in actual fact he is really enriching  himself. As David Marshall said what do they want to do with all this money when they cannot take it to their graves. It would be interesting to watch how DPM Wong views this obseene wealth which has been the wrath of the people of Singapore as a kind of plunder of people's money.Will DPM Wong have a clear conscience to reduce this inflated pay to a more decent amount in comparable to global standard.PM Lee Hsien Loong draws  no less than four times the salary of the American President This will be a test of DPM Wong's humanistic mission.

I think in all  respect it is still too early to give a verdict on DPM Lawrence Wong performance.  Let's wait till he has settled down and perform.

A typical horseplay in Parliament

This is not meant to denigrade the August Parliament but simply to give a flippant portrayer of an overview of its proceedings.for the amusement of discerning Singaporeans.

Have you  ever seen the interaction of monkeys in a zoo? Do you not think that this could be a parable of the Singapore Parliament because of its massive majority the PAP holds court is a foregone conclusion and no argument about it. But the Opposition can still see some defiant voices to cock a snook at the PAP which could trepidate their arrogance. A fierce freedom-fighter is MP Leong Mun Wai who has become a bee in the bonnet of the formidable Minister K, Shanmugam . It's a thrill to watch the duel of wits between the two in Parliament with Leong Mun Wai making  a mockery of the redoubtable K. Shanmugam despite the eloquent superiority of the latter.  Another quite fierce MP is Hazel Pao but a little less aggressive than Leong Mun Wai.  Both are from the People's Progressive Party (PPP) helmed by Dr. Tan Cheng Bock who could be a prime minister if not for age handicap.

Pritam Singh with his serious character flaw is a liability and could lose his seat in the next general election.

The PAP MPs are anything but brilliant. Some of them speak like robots and could hardly make themselves intelligible to the audience. But this is only to be expected as they are quite secure in their tenure which is a golden rice-bowl to them even if they are dumb. This is the price that Singaporeans have to pay.

Are the PAP's 4-G stalwarts up to  their marks? Ong Ye Kung is the only 4-G candidate who shows he has talent which could match if not surpass DPM Lawrence Wong. But he lacks the patronage of PM Lee Hsien Loong. DPM Lawrence Wong is really a big mouth. Have you ever watched a Taoist priest chanting to the devils and don's you think that DPM Wong looks like one in his ranting? This is all an irony of fate.

Lee Hsien Loong has dominated the political scene for a coniserable long  time, much longer than he deserves. Has he and his avaricious ministers really brought prosperity and progress to Singapore? There is a Chinese saying : Each has his own wisdom (人各有智). What one sees may not be the same with another. You should open your eyes wide to view the millions of people's money that they pocket for so-clled public service.Even the American President draws a salary more than four times less than Lee Hsien Loong. You don's think they are enriching themselves with people's money and are really serving the people?

When will Singaporeans really wake up and vote in people who are really for the people? May \God bless you all.

Singapore-born panda Le le

 There has been so immense publicity of the Singapore-born panda Le le in and outside Singapore and now in Sichuan in China that you might mistake it to be some kind of divine angel that is the panacea to mankind. Of course the countries that directly and indirectly enjoy the nebulous universal sensationality of Le le's divine proliferation are China and more importantly Singapore. They make it appear to be like some manna from heaven and to gibe it some semblence of reality it mesmerized a considerable number of Singaporeans and no doubt Chinamen and not unlike a mass hypnotic effect. It is not to deny that Le le is a very cute cuddly panda who Captured the heart of all and sundry here and overseas but there should be some constraint in adulation even God Almighty. 

We now have Senior Minister Teo Chee Hian visiting China as if some kind of diety descending on some up and coming civilisation to give it his divine blessings the way his sojourn has been  propagandised. Who is SM Teo Chee Hian? What ministry does he handle? Is not the post of a senior minister some kind of sinecure? Most of the time he is half invisible and like SM Teo emerges out of the blue and given overweening publicity for some kind of ploy  He gets the obscene pay of a minister which is over a million dollars and  what kind of work he performs as an SM? 

The ministers so-called official visits to foreign countries are usually a junket and if they are;lucky may get some business contracts in return. So is SM Teo Chee Hian's divine visit to give so-called blessing to Le le in Sichuan such an earth-shattering event that it is propagandised as such. It brings to mind whether his visit to Le le is the main reason for his visit to China and if that is the case is the amount of expense necessary for the trip consisting not of only one person from the people's coffers a justified charge? 

I have had brought this up with PM Lee Hsien Loong  from time to time on the question of their venality of pocketing millions of people's money for so-called public service. I and my colleagues fought the communits in the front line at the risk of our lives and we find these people sitting on their fat asses enjoying the luxuries of life at the people's expense while we (I and my colleagues and others) have to subsist on poverty pension. They pocket millions of dollars and when we asked for a small raise to our miserable pension we were told to piss off and die. I invited PM Lee Hsien Loong to have a public discourse but received no reply.

With the present cohort of MPs like Pritam Singh it will take more than a miracle to dislodge the PAP. So what will the foreseeable future present?
