A bid to farewell

The Cosmos is a very beautiful place under the Sun where the homo sapien co-exists peacefully with the serpents for eternity. I was born into this mellifluous world at first but then destiny took a dwindling hand and it became a nightmare. God, however, had not abandoned the deprived and miraculously I ended up looking after the security of a multi-plutocractic nation. The Prime Minister was nominally democratic but in reality nothing short of autocratic. It must be an irony of fate that whilst I through an intricacy of ingenuity had advanced his world political standing, he should be utterly iniquitous in imposing  a very grave injustice  on me. I think it showed the world what a blatant liar he had been. There is redress that only the Lee Kuan Yew estate can be sued because of legal and time constraint but I may not live long enough to see the result.

I think sufficient public resentment had been made over his iniquity and his soul may be resting peacefully in heaven or hell. i think by this time I am completely vindicated and may eke out the remainder of my life at a low key. It is a blessing from God that I had regained my reputation and that I am given the appreciation  from sincere friends and former colleagues of my humble contribution to society. I met a remarkable politician from the Progress Singapore Party Alex Tan  Tiong Hee who stunned me with such  adulation of my so-called alert mind and an excellent command of English  Why he said it to me is enigmatic but it was indeed very flattering.

I am doing my bit for ISD by contribution back to them what I had learned in the course of my duty. I am doing this for the sake of the national security and the most decent thing that PM Lee Hsien Loong and his millionaire cohorts can d is to make a public apology for his father's grave injustice to me. I think this may be too daunting and may send him into a tail-spin.

Prelude to Farewell

This is a period of tranquillity before I am called home to be with the Lord. My greatest regret is the grave injustice that I suffered at the hands of the demonic Lee  Kuan Yew which still rankles in my mind. I can never get any redress either from Lee Hsien Loong or the Lee Kuan Yew's estate because of legal and time constraint. This means that I may have to take my grievance to the grave.

This is by far the most wicked legacy that Lee Kuan Yew  had bestowed on me and others. The egregious smear that he had kindly delivered to ruin my life and reputation could not have been perpetrated by a human. How could a highly reputed prime minister have stooped so low as to telecast a blatant lie to Singapore and the world on some concocted story about  the misdemeanour of a senior civil servant and remained reticent without any trace of compunction. Could that be human?

I had been his benefactor by virtue of the CIA Spy case in 1961 which propelled him to a dizzying height in raising his political standing with a pugnacious American President John Kennedy and his blustering posturings on the Americans were something which the Americans could not forget for a long time. And as a reward he had the temerity to defame me to the world with a despicable vengence. Why he targeted me is until today an enigma. If he was human, it is thought-provoking why it did not bother his conscience a bit to ruin the life of a defenceless officer with  a stroke of his pen or a profane word from his golden mouth.

Although he has now passed on does not his prodigal son Lee Hsien Loong think that he owes me a public apology as a matter of civility to right a wicked wrong by his revered father? I think that this will be too daunting and could send him into a tail-spin.

I hope I will get to meet the soul of this wicked Lee Kuan Yew after my passing and whack him to hell.

The mythology of Operation Coldstore

Many people still have a vague idea about Operation Coldstore. The massive security round-up of leading CUF activists on 2 February 1963 crippled the chances of pro-communist revolutionists from capturing power. It was erroneously branded as a Lee Kuan Yew's brainchild and that he had solely mounted the operation on his own for his political benefit. There were actually considerable behind-the-scene robust interaction in the Internal Security Council (ISC) comprising the British, Singapore and Malaya. Quite interestingly the British under Lord Selkirk put up a staunchly independent stand on their minimalist position which meant that they would only assent to the operation when they could see any concrete evidence of imminent violence to overthrow the government. There was a considerable length of deadlock as neither side conceded. In the end the Malayan Prime Minister Tungku Abdul Rahman managed with his disarming personality persuaded Lord Selkirk to throw in his towel. So Lee Kuan Yew was able to get the imprimatur of the ISC to mount Operation Coldstore.which otherwise would have been aborted.

There were talks that Lee Kuan Yew was virtually the sole beneficiary politically from Coldstore and it was he who initiated the move. This could not be erased from the mind of the public whichever way one looked at it. In fact what followed was an absolute dominance of the political scene by Lee KuanYew's PAP.

Now comes to the point of political finesse and ethical embodiment in our politicians. The British showed exemplary humanism initially but was hopelessly overwhelmed by an equally pugnacious opposition and the disarming personality of Tengku Abdul Rahman beningnant to the degree of naivety. From their experiences in other colonies the British may not even have been inimical to the capture of power by the communist firebrands. This of course is a matter of conjecture but may not be entirely illusory.

One aspect of the persona of Lee Kuan yew which may have escaped the mind of some of the public was his inordinate obsession of the communist threat which probably concealed the embryo of his irrational treatment of his political opponents in detention. This was probably the cruz that prevented renowned historians from writng his obituary.

What is the prognosis of Singapore's future? The status quo will remain for some time because there is nothing yet on the horizon to disturb it. The Progress Singapore Party shows good promise under the dynamic leadership of Dr.Tan Cheng Bock but we will see if he will get divine blessing.
